 Moving In New Directions Society -MINDS- is a non profit organization located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Mission:  To provide a motivational environment that fosters the individual’s capacity
for self-determination and independence. To collaborate with the individual on the development of action plans
with realistic goals and objectives. To support and work in co-operation with the individual in achieving
his/her goals. To facilitate the co-ordination of a supportive circle of family and
friends during the learning process. To facilitate the co-ordination of a network of community based supports
and professionals that promote the fulfillment of the individual's goals. To provide quality, affordable services on a not for profit basis. |
